A wallbox is a 7 kW kettle that runs for hours. Size the array for daylight charging.
BYD Atto 3 / MG ZS / similar ~50–60 kWh packs. A 7.2 kW Level-2 charger needs ~8 hours for empty-to-full. That is not a 6 kW house hybrid’s leftover.
Day charge from PV
10–15 kW array, charger on a dedicated circuit, timer 10:00–16:00. Summer Lahore can put 20–30 kWh into the car after the house AC. Winter is thinner — you will import.
Night charge
Either the slab (expensive) or a huge LFP bank (usually sillier than the slab). Do not promise “free night km” from one 5 kWh pack — that is 25–30 km, not a commute.
Net-billing
Exporting at Rs 11 then charging at Rs 48 at 11 p.m. is the worst trade on this site. Self-consume into the car at noon.
