What the demand notice is
A LESCO demand notice is their price for the meter, security and whatever that circle is charging this year. It is not a shop accessory. Paying it to an agent without a receipt in your name is how files vanish.
After the meter
App export and DISCO export should be cousins, not strangers. First three bills: check the export column. If LESCO shows zero export and the dongle shows export, photograph both the same hour and go to the circle, not Facebook.
Worked example — Quetta
Take a 6 kW-class hybrid in Quetta (QESCO, ~5.8 PSH). 10 × 645 W is 6.45 kW DC. Derated yield ≈ 6.45 × 5.8 × 0.78 ≈ 29.2 kWh on a clean day — then high PSH and cold January Voc. Can I export without filing?
Not legally. Hybrid can self-consume without export.
Is KE different from LESCO?
K-Electric is its own utility. Everyone else is a PEPCO-world DISCO with local habits.
What if my old meter is 1:1?
Agreement date wins. Get it in writing before you expand.
