Peak sun hours are not clock hours of daylight.
One peak sun hour is 1000 W/m² for one hour. A 6.45 kW array in 5.1 PSH does not make 6.45 × 5.1 kWh — you still derate for heat, dust, mismatch and the box.

PSH vs sunshine hours
A 13-hour June day is not 13 PSH. Morning and evening are weak. PSH compresses the area under the irradiance curve into equivalent noon hours. That is why a 5 kW plant does not run a 5 kW load from 6 am to 7 pm.
Worked example — Karachi
Take a 6 kW-class hybrid in Karachi (K-Electric, ~5.4 PSH). 10 × 645 W is 6.45 kW DC. Derated yield ≈ 6.45 × 5.4 × 0.78 ≈ 27.2 kWh on a clean day — then salt air and aluminium iron. Does rain count as PSH?
Monsoon weeks drop yield. Annual PSH already averages that. Do not size January from a March brochure.
Why not 0.85 derate?
STC is 25 °C cell. Roof tiles in May are not 25 °C. 0.78 is pessimistic on purpose.
Can bifacial beat PSH?
A little, on high bright iron. It does not turn Lahore into Quetta.
